Dating apps: Ruining the concept of a relationship
Technology deepens its roots with the passage of time not only in working capacity but also in relationships. As everyone is aware of Facebook friendships etc. Instead of just friendship. Many dating application software gaining popularity especially with avid social media users. Subscribers bank their dreams of true love on their online profiles in hopes that their soul mate is just a click away.
But apart from fun sake, It can be hard to keep the real conversation over an app; especially with the lack of body language or social cause. Do you ever thought that people you are dating with, hook up for a serious relation or not? You have to navigate the people intentions. This is just an electronic sort of relationship.
The most observed Dilemma, either the profile picture is genuine or not? Online Dating apps fades away the true feeling of love and the impatience of seeing the loved ones and so many things like that.
Scientifically, Communication online before meeting can cause you to build up unrealistic expectations. while chatting online pre-date might seem like a great way of knowing each other by just seeing someone’s profile. The findings suggest that chatting online longer than 17 days before meeting face to face can lead to major disappointments.
Online dating is not a sure-fire way to get actual dates. According to a research one third online daters said that they had not gone out on an actual face to face date with their matches. Are not nobody get time for that? At the end of the day, none of this means that people should not online date or that online dating is worse than traditional means od sparking with someone in person.
Curated profiles don’t provide ineffable information about who potential dates are as people. If you are interested in finding singles who looks like rock climbing or Godard films then online dating is great. But how you come to know that is this information you are providing is true or not.
By keeping all the above points in mind, I must say that dating apps are ruining the true concept of relationship. The face to face relationships are truer and more viable. you just have not shuffled from one person to another as in dating app .no one knows that one person is dating with how many persons at the same time. No doubt social media makes these relationships easier but at the same time they just intermingled the concept of relationship.
Love is not done, it happens. I found my love in a contest of a dating app. It was about writing poetry, we both met there and magic happened. We had few interesting conversations and found compatibility in common.
And instead of glorifying our love on social media and texting, we loved hanging out with each other not out of desperation, but excitement. Bring love in your consciousness to attract love and compassion across the universe.
If you’re genuinely trying to find the love of your life, the best part about online dating is that it may lead to real life dating, too. Online dating is a tool to meet real people who have real feelings, just like you.
